Protection of personal data

All personal data provided by the customer when ordering products are processed and stored in accordance with Act No. 122/2013 Coll., on personal data protection (henceforth “ZOOÚ").
By sending in an order, i.e., entering into a purchase contract, the customer agrees, in accordance with Act No. 122/2013 Coll., that the seller may process, collect, and store his personal data for the purposes of handling the order and communicating with the customer, as well as for keeping record of the relevant data after finalizing the order (e.g., for claim processing, accounting, etc.), until the receipt of the customer’s objection to the processing of his data. The following scope of personal data are processed: name, surname, address, telephone, and e-mail. The customer has the right of access to his personal data and may request that they be corrected, including other rights available to him by law. The seller does not provide customers’ personal data, publish them, or make them accessible to any other entities, excepting companies that need them, in a minimal extent, to be able to handle the transport and delivery of the products to customers.

By registering a customer account over the Internet via www.etmwood.sk , the customer agrees, in accordance with Act No. 122/2013 Coll., that the seller or a third party designated as a mediator of the sale may process, collect, and store the personal data which the customer provided at the time of his registration, as well as keep record of the relevant data after finalizing the order (e.g., for claim processing, accounting, etc.), until the receipt of the customer’s objection to the processing of his data. By registering as a customer and/or checking his consent to receiving news about products, when sending in his order, the customer gives his consent to the processing and use of his personal data for promotional and marketing purposes, as well as to the forwarding of his personal data to the seller’s business partners for promotional and marketing purposes, and simultaneously agrees that the seller or a third party, contractually authorized by the seller, may send the customer commercial notices in electronic form, in accordance with Act No. 147/2001 Coll., on advertising, and Act No. 610/2003 Coll., on electronic communication. Personal data are processed to the following extent: name, surname, date of birth, address, telephone, e-mail, sex.
The customer has the right of access to his personal data and may request that they be corrected, including other rights concerning these data.

The seller does not provide customers’ personal data, publish them, or make them accessible to any other entities, excepting companies (mainly the Slovak Postal Services / Slovenská Pošta) that need them, in a minimal extent, to be able to handle the transport and delivery of the products to customers,.
Consent to the processing of personal data and the sending of commercial information is granted for an indefinite time and can be revoked any time free of charge in writing, in a clear and explicit manner, addressed to the seller by mail, telephone or electronically using the following e-mail address: info@etmwood.sk. Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data will automatically cancel the customer’s registration
Pursuant to Act No. 122/2013 Coll., the customer has the following rights as regards the processing of his personal data, in particular:

Upon written request, the customer has the right to request from the seller, as follows:

  • a) confirmation whether or not his personal data are processed;
  • b) information, in a generally comprehensible form, on the processing of his personal data to the extent defined in Section 15(1a) to (1e), second through sixth paragraph; if a decision is issued pursuant to paragraph 5, the concerned person has the right to be acquainted with the processing and evaluation procedures;
  • c) accurate information, in a generally comprehensible form, on the source of his personal data used for the processing;
  • d) list of his personal data, in a generally comprehensible form, subjected to processing;
  • e) correction or deletion of incorrect, incomplete or outdated personal data subjected to processing;
  • f) deletion of his personal data when the purpose for their processing expires; if the processing involved the use of official documents, their return may be requested;
  • g) deletion of his personal data subjected to processing , if the law has been violated;
  • h) blocking of his personal data due to revocation of his consent before its expiration, if the personal data are processed on the basis of the concerned person’s consent.

The customer has the right to object in writing, if:

  • a) he presumes that his personal data are processed for the purposes of direct marketing, without his consent, in which case the customer has the right to demand that the data be deleted;
  • b) the personal data specified in Section10(3d) have been used for direct marketing through postal services, or
  • c) the personal data specified in Section10(3d) have been provided for the purposes of direct marketing.
